Sun State Enclosures is a fully licensed general contractor in the state of Florida and Georgia. Our company is located in Jacksonville Florida and has been in business for 10 years at the same location. Sun State Enclosures is located at 5800 Ricker Rd, Jacksonville, FL.

The owner, Marty Barker, started building steel buildings in 1997. We specialize in building steel framed buildings and we take pride in our accomplishments and work over the past ten years. We are established, experienced, and confident in what we do.

1. Make sure the company you're choosing in fact are "General Contractors" Ask for a copy of their license, then make sure that name matches their paperwork.
2. Ask for a copy of the company's general liability insurance policy.
3. Ask if they ever use illegal aliens on their job sites.
4. Don't ever let someone talk you into pulling your own permit, they are asking you to do this because they can't pull permits. When you pull the permit "you" are the contractor.
5. Call the Better Business Bureau.
6. Call references, ask for many, then you choose who you will call.
7. Finally, when your project is finished get a notarized "RELEASE OF LEIN" if you don't you could find yourself paying twice or have a lein put on your home.
